There are two ways leading us to joy and happiness
The first one involves intensifying the sensual beauty of our environment
The second one implies to eliminate everything that would obscure it

The aim was to renew a studio apartment of 25 m2 in a contemporary style, optimising the space and completing it with a calm, minimal feel.

The challenge was to create a space that was confortable and had everything one might need for temporary living,  just as if they were at home.

A platform has been created to distinguish the night and day area, to create a feeling of privacy and to increase the storage space.  All along the platform a source of indirect lighting has been added to provide it with a floating aspect and the storage volume under the platform includes a third bed.

On the east side of the room a built-in storage has been created to include the main functionalities and on the north side some wooden slats have been designed to separate the kitchen and the bathroom from the rest of the space.

Winter ice shapes have inspired the choice of the pendant lights of the night area.
